Congratulations to Maggie Johnson from Tallulah Falls, GA for her win at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour’s Furman Junior Classic held at the Furman University Golf Course in Greenville, South Carolina. She was the overall female winner and shot rounds of 78 and 73 for a total of 151.
Also, congratulations to Reed Lotter, from Savannah, GA. Reed was the overall male winner of the SJGT’s Furman Classic with the score of 69 and 69 for a total of 138. Lotter was also this year’s Savannah Morning News Boys Golfer of the Year.

Congratulations to Steve Stricker for his win at the U.S. Senior Open held at the Warren Golf Course, the home course of Notre Dame Golf team. It was his second major of the year. He shot 19 under par for a new U.S. senior Open record, a record previously set by Kenny Perry two years ago at the Salem Country Club.
